The GGU Pneumatic grippers

The GGU pneumatic gripper tubes consist of 2 sides (4) ref. sketch equipped with 2 inflatable pneumatic parts attached to a spacer (5). It is equipped with 2 fasteners and 2 supply hoses (3) for connecting to a source of compressed air.  This GGU pneumatic clamp allows palletizing or depalletizing bottles of any shape or neck size and the handle glass or plastic containers row by row or by full layers.

Technical characteristics

The GGU pneumatic gripper tubes consist of 2 inflatable parts manufactured from vulcanized rubber that can withstand abrasion and repeated pressure and deflation.

The standard length of the GGU pneumatic gripper is 1340 mm, and includes 3 attachments spaced 510 mm from the centre attachment. It is also delivered with 2 compressed air supply hoses positioned at 300 mm from the central attachment. This gripper is also available in a length of 1470 mm.

Performance

The GGU pneumatic gripper lets you handle all types of glass bottles and jars. It is a universal (de)palletization solution for glass containers. We offer several types. You can move bottles row by row or by full layer. Implementation of the GGU gripper is very fast and easy, thanks to its quick attachment system and air supply fittings that we can adapt to suit your installation. The strength of the GGU pneumatic gripper is that it can be mounted on an automatic palletizer or on a semi-automatic gripper head.

Composition

The GGU pneumatic gripper is divided into three areas:

• 2 rigid sides equipped with inflatable cylinders
• 3 attachment points
• 2 inflatable tubes equipped with a hose and a quick-connect fitting that can be connected to a compressed air source
