The GGR gripper

The GGR type gripper tube for long neck bottles comes in the form of an inflatable cylinder equipped with supply(ies) for connection to compressed air, with threaded fasteners, for quick mounting on your gripper heads. It allows long-necked bottles to be handled. Many users around the world are satisfied with this tool.

Technical characteristics

Our gripper tube for long neck bottles is manufactured with highly abrasion resistant polymer coated fabric substrate then are vulcanized, giving them a long lifespan.

Among our GGR line, we offer several inflation diameters (standard and custom) which can manipulate all your long-neck bottles, regardless of their capacity.

Our standard GGR grippers are 1340 mm long (European pallets), with 3 M10x70mm attachment points (centre distance between attachments is 510mm) and with a 300mm long supply hose.

We also offer the GGLR which have a length of 1470mm (Australia, New Zealand, USA pallets), with its other technical characteristics being identical to the GGR.

Performance

GGR grippers are used in automated processes for handling bottles. When your facility is ready, our grippers are an indispensable and valuable instrument for your production lines. Very strong, they can withstand up to 1.2 bars of pressure.

If you have several types of neck, our different grippers are quickly removable between your production changes. We can carry out optimisation studies to choose the model.

The GGR inflatable bladder has a flat shape, and is very thin when not inflated, which is a practical aspect for storage and safe when inserting between the necks.

Composition

The gripper is divided into 3 areas:

• An inflatable body reinforced by a frame
• 3 attachment points
• 1 inflatable tube equipped with a quick-connect fitting that can be connected to a compressed air source

Customisation

Our technical department designs grippers adapted to your needs. Whether specific lengths or different pallet configurations, we adapt to your needs.

Several options and accessories are offered: fabric reinforcement to limit abrasion to the bottom of the bladder, various supplies to increase inflation and deflation speed, non-standard diameters for specific bottles, number of upper or lower threaded fasteners, adaptable length of threaded rods, food contact certified coating for certain sanitary requirements. You can also add accessories to our grippers with aluminium stiffening profiles, quick-release nuts, gum rubber profiles along the entire length to increase the width while maintaining the same height (allows handling several types of bottle with the same gripper).
