The GGS gripper

The GGS type gripper tube for all types of bottles necks comes in the form of 2 inflatable bars equipped with fittings for connection to compressed air and have threaded fasteners. The GGS gripper installs quickly and easily on your machines. It facilitates handling of all types of bottles combined. The inflatable tubes that make up the gripper withstand a pressure of up to 1.2 bars. Many users around the world use and recommend this practical system.

Technical characteristics

Our grippers are manufactured with polymer coated fabric substrate and are vulcanized in manufacturing, making them ultra strong and guaranteeing that they will have a long lifespan.

Several inflated diameters are available: in standard sizes we offer 28mm, 33mm and 38mm. For any other diameter, please consult us.

Standard GGS grippers are 1340mm long, have 3 M10x70mm attachment points (centre spacing between attachments is 510mm) and have a 300mm long supply hose.

We also produce GGLS grippers 1470mm long or with other lengths for non-standard pallets.

Performance

Our GGS grippers can move rows and layers of bottles. Upon request they can be supplied with handles, control buttons, pressure gauge and mounting rings. They consist of 2 sides connected by plates with M10 threaded fasteners. Equipped with cylinders that inflate inwards, this clever gripper has an adjustable height and centre spacings, a major asset when you want to limit handling time. Very easy to handle, it lets you move your bottles quickly. Their great strength can withstand a pressure of up to 1.2 bars.

The GG gripper, despite its high strength, is very light. These facilitates its use for a semi-automatic process.

Composition

The gripper is configured in 3 parts:

• An inflatable body reinforced by a frame
• 3 attachment points
• 1 inflatable tube equipped with a quick-connect fitting for connection to compressed air

Customisation

Our engineering office creates products tailored to your needs. We offer fully custom-made grippers. You can choose the length and configuration and we will adapt it to your needs.

We also offer various options: reinforced fabric to limit abrasion at the bottom of the cylinder. You can choose to equip the gripper with several supplies to increase the inflation and deflation speed. If your bottles are specific, we also offer non-standard diameters, a number of upper and lower threaded fasteners, an adjustable length of threaded rods, food contact certified coating to meet sanitary needs. Our grippers can also be made accessible with quick locking screws to easily mount them on your installations.
