The GGW bottle gripper

The type GGW pneumatic gripper tube comes in the form of a gripper equipped with a central gripper and an aluminium spacer to which 2 composite slats are attached. Our gripper tubes for gripping bottles also have fittings for connection to compressed air, equipped with threaded fasteners and installs quickly on your gripper heads. Thanks to its useful length, it is mainly used for most standard long-necked bottles, such as wine bottles, beer bottles and many others.

Technical characteristics bottle gripper tubes

We use highly abrasion resistant materials to manufacture grippers tubes. The central gripper is manufactured in highly abrasion resistant polymer coated fabric then is vulcanised.  Our GGW grippers consist of two composite slats, and a central gripper for opening and closing the clamp.

For our GGW gripper, we offer several inflation diameters (standard and custom) which can control the opening width of the gripper and manipulate all your long-neck bottles, regardless of their capacity.

The standard properties of our GGW gripper are:

• Length of 1320mm.
• Attachment with 3 M10 threaded rods spaced 510mm apart.
• Air supply 300mm from the centre.

Performance gripper tubes GGW

Automated processes for handling bottles use GGW gripper tubes for gripping bottle when palletizing or depalletizing. When your facility is ready, our grippers are an indispensable and valuable instrument for your production lines. Very strong, they can withstand up to 1.2 bars of pressure.

If you have more than one type of neck, our GGW gripper adapts to all necks and thereby avoids the need to change gripper, saving time in production. We can carry out optimisation studies to choose the model.

Our GGW gripper can offer several options for picking up the bottles: one gripper per row or one gripper between 2 rows, depending on the type of bottle.

Composition

The composition of the gripper is :

• An aluminium spacer with threaded fasteners and air supply .
• A central gripper which inflates and deflates to open and close the clamp.
• 2 high strength composite blades to catch the necks of the bottles.

Customisation bottle grippers

The strength of our GGW gripper as well as our entire FLEXGRIP line is that in option we manufacture them according your needs (special length, special attachments, different number and type of connections).

Our gripping clamps and grippers can be completely tailor made for picking up critical containers and/or for use with unusual pallet configurations (packs with crossbraces, specific bottles, etc.).
